Worthersee Tour 2009 Teaser | Wagenwerks

The team and I were talking about making a promotional video for FL. One of the concept videos I brought up was the Worthersee Tour 2009 teaser by Wagenwerks. I adore this teaser film for many reasons and I think most cinematographers can agree with me. For one, capturing the stillness of the subject surrounded by movement is quite a neat feature. Though the camera was moving and gliding throughout the film, the subject was still and everything else was in motion. I think this one of the ideas we’re trying to shoot for. Also the background music used was spot on. As a Cali native, most drift or car films use hip hop as the background music. I have nothing against that setup, but I would like to try a cinematic approach with an orchestral melody filled with strings.
