The Rebirth of the Cafe Racer

Rock and roll, racing, attitude, and drive. This was the era of the cafe racer scene. It was a lifestyle filled with people who shared their love for music, racing, and motorcycles. Since the original Rockers of London in the 1960s, the scene has expanded its roots to many parts all over the world. It was more than just a scene, it was a dedicated lifestyle pursuing fast living and sharing great times with great friends.

Among the different types of custom bikes, the cafe racer is my favorite choice. I love the streamlined and vintage look of the cafe racer. It feels pure, minimal, and packed with so much racing attitude. Coming from a racing background, the cafe racer felt like the perfect fit to my style. The bodywork is set to a minimalistic tune while a chorus of mechanics race at the heart of the cafe racer. This is why I love cafe racers. Even today, the vintage spirit is much alive in these beautiful machines of the past.

While I search for my own cafe racer, I ran across a great video from Lossa Engineering. The cinematic scenes were spot on and the star cafe racer was a beautiful sight to see. Check out the film below.
