Ever since I started this brand, I’ve always had my eyes set on cut & sew. It is ultimately one of our goals with our company. However, our budget plays a huge factor in what we can and cannot produce. As most of you know, we’re practically running this company out of our pockets without the help of loans or investors. But, despite the fact, we’re more than happy to dream, design, and deliver more products within reasonable means. I guess you could say we’re overly passionate about what we do even if it means spending more on our end.
I spotted this neat film on Hypebeast featuring one of my favorite brand designers, Bobby Hundreds, creative director and founder of The Hundreds. He talks about the challenges and what it takes to deliver a cut & sew range. Seeing this video reminded me of how brand maturity plays an important role for any clothing company. I know we’re so fresh in the industry, but seeing Bobby Hundreds take his company to the top motivates me to keep moving forward.
