Labor Day Drift Bash 2010 Pt.1 | Thunder Drift

Yesterday at Thunder Drift was a blast with plenty of run time for all the drifters. I didn’t go to the Saturday event, but I heard there were some ill drifters out there. However, I did manage to run Sunday’s event. It was nice to get back to the track and learn more about my car and drifting. Also, I finally managed to connect some of my drifts! However, I felt like I needed more power to keep the drift going.

Speaking of power, some of the cars at Sunday’s skid had plenty of power. There was this black s14 killing it on the track leaving smokescreens everywhere. Also the s13 hatches were doing mighty fine as well.

So on to the pictures. At TD yesterday, I experimented shooting on film and digital. The first set of pics are shot on my D80. Once I get the film developed, I’ll upload the film shots which features more action shots.

There was this neat classic car I spotted in the garage where I first parked in front of. I loved this shot because of how the light seeped into the garage and how it has that race inspired aura.

Erika’s mighty fitted s13 hatch.

Ingenuity using my wheels to tie down the canopy.

Media crew!

I think that trash can needs an FL sticker wouldn’t you agree?

FL staff being lazy as usual.

Look at Geoff sporting a limited edition Thunder Drift staff tee!

Drift until the tires pop!

More pictures and video coming soon, so tune in to Checked! IN GEAR.
