Since September, I was brainstorming new ideas for a simple logo, something that we could use as a backup if the “Original Pistons” trademark didn’t fall through. Likewise, this was a design that was unique and embodied a sense of minimalism. Here’s a little glimpse of the new logo accompanying our doctrine, “Innovation, motoring, and the humanities.” The idea was to use the letters “F” and “L” to create a simple yet innovative design. I was going for something sleek and cool while retaining a minimalistic effect.
