We’re 14 hours away till the first practice runs at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. This is the first race in Europe, the birthplace of Formula 1, and all the teams feel at home. Most of the drivers are familiar with the technical track’s twisty turns. The long turns will trouble the understeer prone cars however. Also with the track’s narrow width, overtaking will add to the complexity. Qualifying for pole position will significantly help the teams win at Catalunya. Likewise, driving consistent is key to winning while any acts of aggression will topple the chances.

If the last four races weren’t enough for the drivers, Catalunya will be the benchmark. From here on out, the teams will be pushing hard to win. It’s game time.
